Rosalind, daughter of the deposed duke, is banished by her uncle and flees to the Forest of Arden disguised as a man with her cousin Celia and the fool Touchstone. There she is reunited with Orlando, with whom she is in love, and puts his feelings to the test amid misunderstandings, verbal duels and several weddings. It includes the famous monologue «All the world's a stage».
Probably composed around 1599 or 1600, the play was first published in the First Folio of 1623. This edition was released on 26 July 2007 in the Penguin Popular Classics collection.
