«Andanzas de Xan Farrapeiro» is the children's story by Ramón Caride, published by Xerais in hardback (96 pages, in Galician).
Xan Farrapeiro is a man so poor he wears rags, but cheerful and brave. While searching for pine cones on the mountain, he meets the lady of the crags and his fate changes. The book reinterprets a wonder tale: the story of a poor boy who became poor by magic and then forgot everything.
It belongs to the Sopa de Libros collection, features 18 illustrations by Marisa Irimia, and is the first edition published in 2009.
