Alma de elefante is a tender story about growth and love for animals. Suy and Lawen are twins, and according to the old woman Champey, Suy has the soul of a butterfly and Lawen of an elephant. Suy does not understand it, since he has always taken care of his sister. Lawen is different, she finds it difficult to express her feelings and gets nervous in new situations. Suy believes that he should be the elephant, but sometimes things are not what they seem and the real treasures have four legs. Only butterflies can fly high enough to find them.
