«Alegatos de los gatos» is a short story collection by Antonio Burgos, published by La Esfera de los Libros in paperback (360 pages, in Spanish).
The book stems from a request by Remo, Antonio Burgos's feline companion, who invites other literary cats to tell their experiences without hiding anything. Thus follow pleas with the stories and portraits of Benito el Negro, Afrraal, Miss Cifú or Truchi, among others, and it becomes clear that each cat is unique.
The cover bears the subtitle «Relatos con retratos de los gatos literatos». The back cover also mentions the author's previous book «Gatos sin Fronteras».
For cat lovers and for those who enjoy short stories that combine humour and emotion, told from the perspective of the felines themselves.
Antonio Burgos Belinchón was a Spanish traditionalist-conservative journalist, novelist and multi-media writer.
