«A tientas y a ciegas» is the novel by Marta Portal, published by Planeta in paperback (216 pages, in Spanish).
The narrative follows Sara, a woman going through a stage of discontent and disorientation. When love arrives, she gives herself to it blindly, though she retains her capacity for decision. Later, the idea of motherhood attracts her with instinctive force, and in that unconditional surrender she finds an unexpected form of clarity about herself.
The work won the Premio Planeta in 1966. This edition was published in 1977 in Planeta's Colección Popular (number 57).
