«A Cigarra e a Formiga» is the adaptation of Aesop's fable by Roberto Belli, published by Todolivro in paperback (16 pages, in Portuguese).
It narrates how a group of cicadas spends the summer singing while the ants work gathering wheat grains; when autumn arrives, the cicadas' carefree attitude clashes with the ants' foresight and the consequences of not having thought about the future. Classic fable about effort and anticipation.
It is part of Todolivro's Minilivros collection, within its series of classic children's fables.
Recommended from 3 years old, designed for early readers and for reading aloud, with short stories.
