A casa de cartón

Synopsis of A casa de cartón

«A casa de cartón» is the illustrated children's story by Concha Blanco, published by Everest Galicia in 2013 in paperback (60 pages, in Galician).

Adela kept as a treasure some patent leather shoes that no longer fit her, and her little cousin will inherit them. To avoid leaving empty the cardboard box where she stored them, she turns it into a tiny house; a cricket and a firefly, after much thought, decide to rent it. The illustrations by Ánxeles Ferrer show the little cardboard house with open windows and butterflies around it.

Part of the «Ler é vivir» collection from Everest Galicia. Recommended reading for ages 6 to 10.

Suitable for early readers in Galician and for families looking for stories about imagination, recycling and small animals.
