«612 euro» is the crime novel by Jon Arretxe, published by Erein Argitaletxea in paperback (256 pages, in Basque).
Detective Touré, respected by the African community of Bilbao's San Francisco neighbourhood and watched by the police, takes in a supposed brother at his flat. That decision embroils him in robberies, drug trafficking and murder. With rawness and humour, the novel portrays the underworld of the undocumented and the 612-euro benefit that gives the book its title.
Second instalment in the Detective Touré saga.
For readers of crime fiction with a social background and urban setting.
