«15 ans, charmante mais cinglée» is Sue Limb's humorous young adult novel, published by Gallimard in paperback (271 pages, in French).
Jess, a fifteen-year-old teenager, leads a complicated family life: her parents are divorced, her mother is a pacifist activist and her father is a hypochondriac. Although she considers herself unattractive, she dreams of becoming an actress and of Ben Jones, the boy she likes, noticing her. To achieve this, she does not hesitate to devise plans that almost always end in ridiculous and embarrassing moments.
Translated from English by Laetitia Devaux; the original title is «Girl, 15, Charming But Insane». It is the first instalment of Sue Limb's «Jess Jordan» series.
For young and teenage readers who enjoy humorous and romantic stories featuring girls.
