«O'stravaganza» is the album by Hughes de Courson, released in 2001 on EMI/Virgin France, on CD.
O'stravaganza is a musical fantasy in which Hughes de Courson brings Vivaldi's repertoire closer to the Celtic music of Ireland, with arrangements and instrumentation that fuse both worlds. The arrangements alternate dance airs and lyrical passages. Among the album's tracks are «Elle souffle» and «Sound of rushes».
The 2001 European edition is a single CD with 12 tracks, framed in classical music and Celtic folk.
Recommended for fans of classical music and Celtic traditions who want to hear a fusion of both repertoires.
