Biography

Spanish writer (1936-2008)

Isaac Montero was born in Madrid in 1936, the same year the Spanish Civil War began.

He discovered his literary vocation at the age of twelve, shortly after his father's death.

His work covers a wide range of topics, including political biographies and figures like Abraham Lincoln.

Although highly esteemed by literary critics, he did not achieve widespread popular acclaim during his lifetime.
