Neil Griffiths is a British novelist, and the founder of the Republic of Consciousness Prize for Small Presses. He is the winner of the Authors' Club First Novel Award, and has been shortlisted for best novel in the Costa Book Awards.

Neil Griffiths spent thirteen years as a primary school head teacher before dedicating himself fully to writing.

He is the creator of the global Storysacks phenomenon, an initiative designed to promote literacy in schools and communities.

His body of work includes over one hundred titles, with a strong focus on children's literature and early learning.

Beyond writing, he has developed educational curricula and award-winning play resources for the Early Learning Centre.
