Margaretha Maria Antonetta 'Margriet' de Moor is a Dutch pianist and writer of novels and essays. She won the AKO Literatuurprijs for her novel Eerst grijs dan wit dan blauw (1991).

Margriet de Moor was born in 1941 in the coastal town of Noordwijk, Netherlands.

Her artistic background is multidisciplinary, as she excelled as a pianist and singer before dedicating herself to writing.
