Quentin Claudian Stephen Bell was an English art historian and author.

Quentin Bell was a multifaceted artist who excelled as a painter, sculptor, and potter.

As the son of Clive Bell and Vanessa Stephen, he grew up surrounded by the intellectual influence of the Bloomsbury Group.

His most renowned work is the definitive biography of his aunt, the writer Virginia Woolf.

He served as a Professor of History and Art Theory at the University of Sussex.
