Biography

Antonia Hodgson is a British historical crime writer, fantasy writer and publisher.

Antonia Hodgson was born in Derby in 1971 and holds a degree in English Literature from the University of Leeds.

Before becoming a successful novelist, she spent nearly twenty years in the publishing industry, rising to editor-in-chief.

During her career as an editor, she worked with high-profile figures ranging from Ozzy Osbourne to novelist Nora Roberts.

Her deep interest in the Georgian era, which she studied in her youth, serves as the primary inspiration for her mystery novels.

Her works, such as 'A Devil in the Marshalsea', masterfully explore the dark and gritty side of historical London.
