«Xestas olímpicas» is the collection of sports stories by Héctor Cajaraville, illustrated by Antonio Seijas, published by Edicións Xerais in paperback (112 pages, in Galician).
The book brings together real Olympic feats that hover between reality and legend: marks, heights and distances that turned their protagonists into heroes. The common thread is the effort, sometimes superhuman, to surpass oneself and open previously unimaginable paths, with sport as learning and passion. Antonio Seijas's illustrations accompany the stories.
The subtitle of the work is «Escolma de relatos heroicos no mundo do deporte». Published in 2022 within the collection «Infantil e Xuvenil - Coñecemento - Seica», it is written in Galician.
Aimed at young readers and those seeking real stories of overcoming through sport and the Olympic Games.
