«Waiting for Baby» is a children's book illustrated by Rachel Fuller, published by Child's Play International as a board book (12 pages, in English).
From a young child's point of view, waiting for a baby to arrive can seem endless: clothes, toys and a cot need preparing. The book addresses the mix of excitement and confusion felt by older siblings, with simple text and illustrations designed to encourage dialogue between adult and child.
Originally published in 2009; part of the New Baby series, comprising four titles.
For young children expecting a new sibling and for sharing as a family before a baby arrives.
