«Violeta Parra» is the biography by Jorge Montealegre Iturra, published by Editorial Usach in paperback (172 pages, in Spanish).
A biography that approaches Violeta Parra from a fragmentary perspective: fertile moments, visions and scraps of memory sketch the Chilean artist, known above all for her music, but also for her contribution to popular culture. The author articulates these flashes in a narrative that illuminates her creative temperament and her context.
For readers interested in Violeta Parra, Chilean music and biographies of artists.
