«Ver o Mundo em Verso» is the poetry collection by Teolinda Marreiro, published by Chiado Books in 2015 in paperback (108 pages, in Portuguese).
The book brings together poems in Portuguese in which the author contemplates the world through conflicting emotions: joy and sadness, strength and weakness, love and hate, faith and disbelief. Nature, humanity and the author's own biography intersect in verses that seek a love that still exists in the world.
Teolinda Marreiro was born in Monchique (Portugal) on 24 January 1956, began writing in primary school and took part in local radio programmes with her own poetry between 1990 and 2010.
A work for readers of poetry in Portuguese seeking an intimate and reflective look at nature, humanity and emotional contradictions.
