In 'Vengaré tu muerte', Carme Riera immerses us in a police thriller where former private detective Elena Martínez is tormented by a past case in which she contributed to condemning innocents. At the height of corruption in Spain in 2010, Elena is hired to investigate the disappearance of a Catalan businessman, Robert Solivellas. As she delves deeper, she discovers a network of degradation and impunity among those who hide behind economic and political power. With her characteristic mastery, Riera blows up the conventions of the noir genre, offering social criticism through humor and irony. A thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat until the amazing ending.
