«Une année particulière» is the satirical and autofictional chronicle by Nicolas Bedos, published by Robert Laffont in hardback (283 pages, in French).
The author ironically reviews the flaws of his contemporaries and reconstructs the most notable episodes of a French election year: socialist primaries, Bourget rally, Carlton affair, separation from «Pom», Mélenchon's promises, Jean Dujardin's Oscar and the right's shift. A blend of autofiction and satire on the political and media life of 2012.
Second instalment of the series «Journal d'un mythomane». Originally published on 11 October 2012.
It is especially suitable for readers interested in French political satire and in the public and media events of 2012.
