«Una zanahoria para Iznogud» is the humour comic by René Goscinny and Jean Tabary, published by Planeta DeAgostini in hardback (48 pages, in Spanish).
In a fairy-tale Baghdad, the vizier Iznogud tirelessly schemes to become caliph in place of the good-natured Harún El Pussah. In this adventure, a carrot triggers chases and misunderstandings with his clumsy henchman. Goscinny's humour and Tabary's artwork turn the volume into a succession of zany gags.
First volume in the collection «Las aventuras del califa Harún El Pussah». The comic originally appeared in the French magazine Record on 15 January 1962.
Ideal for child and young readers, and for fans of Goscinny's humour.

René Goscinny was a French comic editor and writer, who created the Asterix comic book series with illustrator Albert Uderzo. Born in France to a Jewish family from Poland, he spent his childhood in Argentina where he attended French schools and later lived in the United States for a short period of time. There he met Belgian cartoonist Morris. After his return to France, they collaborated for more than 20 years on the comic series Lucky Luke.
