«Una nit bestial» is a children's story by Meritxell Martí Orriols, published by Cruïlla in paperback (62 pages, in Catalan).
Bernat and his mother drive home along a lonely road at dusk. That night the animals seem to parade before them: a fox, a hedgehog, a wild boar and even the howl of a wolf. The father, who is waiting for them, begins to worry. The mother thinks there may be a fire, but only the reader comes to know what causes such strange behaviour.
Number 65 of the El Vaixell de Vapor Blanca collection. Illustrations by Xavier Salomó. Second edition.
Suitable for children aged 6 to 8 who already read alone, with an advanced reading level.
