«Una historia particular» is an autobiographical account by Manuel Vicent, published by Alfaguara in paperback (208 pages, in Spanish).
An autobiographical voice recalls a life from childhood, when riding the horses of a carousel, to maturity. Music, reading, dogs, cars and the sea intertwine with dreams, friends, loves and wounds. Fiction and memory merge to offer a nostalgic and sensory look at Spain's recent history and the passage of time.
