The Wünschmann family is not happy at all. Emma's bookstore, the mother, is about to close; Frank, the father, is overwhelmed by work; Fee, the teenager, doesn't get out of the chair, and the little son, Max, the girls he likes lock him in the school bathroom. To make matters worse, after a costume party, a witch casts a spell on the Wünschmanns and suddenly they become a vampiress, Frankenstein, a mummy and a werewolf. Together, the new monsters, will search all over the planet for the witch who has bewitched them to undo the spell, and in this search, they will meet a lot of real monsters: vampires, giant lizards and Swabian tourists traveling the world on organized trips. They will even get to know Count Dracula in person, who with his irresistible charm will want to seduce Emma. To find family happiness, anything goes.
