Una cuestión personal es una novela del escritor japonés Kenzaburo Oé, publicada en 1964. La novela cuenta la historia de Bird, un joven profesor de inglés que vive en Japón y se siente abrumado por su vida cotidiana. Su esposa da a luz a un bebé con una malformación, lo que le obliga a enfrentarse a una difícil decisión: aceptar la fatalidad y cuidar de su hijo, o abandonarlo.
