«Un week-end de Repos Absolu» is the children's picture book by Davide Cali and Alexandra Huard, published by Tom Poche in paperback (32 pages, in French).
Workaholic parents promise a weekend of absolute rest in the countryside, with no phones or newspapers. On arriving at the country house, chores pile up: picking vegetables, mowing the lawn, making jams. While they rush around, their son reads, plays and observes calmly. A tender and humorous critique of excessive activity.
The book was published by Tom Poche on 4 June 2020.
Suitable for children aged 3 and up, with a reading for adults about the balance between work and rest.
