«Un mystérieux incendiaire» is the first novel in the «Les héros du 18» series by Anne-Marie Desplat-Duc, published by Flammarion in paperback and in French.
Around Creysseilles, forest fires keep breaking out and the village is under threat. Émilien, a young volunteer firefighter, and his friend Solène come to the aid of isolated neighbours while suspecting someone is starting the fires.
Part of the Castor Poche collection, with illustrations by Serge Prud'homme and a glossary; the edition has 93 pages.
Aimed at children and young adults: it combines firefighter action with a mystery to solve.
