«Un mundo de problemas» is the children's novel by Terence Blacker, published by Ediciones del Bronce in paperback (78 pages, in Spanish).
Teacher Serafina arrives at St Barnabas School with a mouse up her sleeve, an owl in her bag, and powers that transform the third-grade class. Her spells cause chaos: Bolita's father turns into a porcupine, and the school inspector loses his trousers. The class learns that with Serafina everything is a world of problems.
It is the first novel in the Ms Wiz series, illustrated by Tony Ross; the English original was published in 1988 as «Ms Wiz Spells Trouble».
Recommended for children aged 5 to 8, it combines school humour and fantasy to encourage reading.
Terence Blacker is an English songwriter, author and columnist.
