«Un estel en la foscor» is the illustrated album by Montserrat Ginesta, published by Publicacions de l'Abadia de Montserrat in hardback (32 pages in Catalan).
Wordless album that tells a Christmas story only through images. A lost girl walks through a forest and the reader must imagine what happens to her, what she seeks, and what she finds. With no text, each reader reinvents the tale and adapts it to their sensibility, discovering new details with every reading.
Sixth title in the «Àlbum il·lustrat» collection, with illustrations by Paula Luciani Torres. Published in November 2017.
Recommended for early readers: lacking text, it stimulates the imagination and allows adults and children to invent the narrative together.
