«Un día en la vida de Marlon Bundo» is the children's picture book by Jill Twiss, published by Editorial Juventud in hardback (40 pages, in Catalan).
Marlon Bundo, the rabbit of the Vice President of the United States, lives in a big house but feels lonely until he meets Wesley, whom he falls in love with at first sight. His intention to marry clashes with the political and legal context. The book, created as a parody of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver, responds to Mike Pence's conservative positions on LGTB rights.
Original title: «A Day in the Life of Marlon Bundo». With illustrations by EG Keller and translation by Carlos Mayor Ortega, in the Picture Books collection.
Recommended for early readers aged 5 and up; may also interest adults due to its LGTB theme and political parody background.
