A collection of stories and poems by Gloria Fuertes aimed at early readers: animal tales such as Pelines and his friend Coleta or the little hen, along with riddles, picture rhymes and songs, featuring the author's characteristic humour and wordplay.
Illustrated by Margarita Menéndez. The cover bears the subtitle «Os cuenta cuentos Gloria Fuertes».
Aimed at children aged 5 and up, it works well as shared reading and as a first introduction to poetry and storytelling.
