There she collaborated with the Resistance until she was captured and deported to the Ravensbrück and Holleischen camps, where she experienced hell, but also solidarity and sisterhood among the prisoners.
The novel was first published in 2012 in Catalan. The book belongs to the NOVEL-LA collection from Amsterdam and was Carme Martí's literary debut.
Recommended for readers interested in the Spanish Civil War, exile and historical memory, with a focus on resistance and female solidarity.
