«Ultime notizie dal Sud» is Luis Sepúlveda's travel chronicle, published by Guanda in paperback (166 pages, in Italian).
In 1996, Sepúlveda and Mordzinski plan a book about the south of the world. In the Patagonian steppe they gather border stories: a luthier, a descendant of Davy Crockett, an old woman who fertilizes the land. Over time, it becomes a chronicle of a region threatened by greed and inhabited by ghosts, where the Patagonia Express travels.
Italian edition translated by Ilide Carmignani, with photographs by Daniel Mordzinski, published in the Narratori della Fenice collection. Original work: «Últimas noticias del Sur» (2006).
Will appeal to readers of travel chronicles and followers of Luis Sepúlveda.
