«Ulls de peix» is the children's picture book by Oriol Cabrero, published by La Galera in hardback (24 pages, in Catalan).
The story centres on Hèlix, a sea snail who feels defenceless and envies other marine animals. His encounter with a big-eyed fish opens a way for him to overcome his problem. Christian Inaraja's geometric illustrations accompany a tale about insecurities and how to face them.
It belongs to the Cues de Sirena collection (no. 18); it was first published on 12 February 2003.
Recommended for children aged 6 and up, it is a suitable early reading choice for those starting to read in Catalan.
