«Txatartegirako ipuinak» is a collection of short stories in Basque by Xabier Etxaniz Rojo, published by Erein Argitaletxea in 2010, in paperback (186 pages).
The volume opens with Iñaki watching a police operation from his car: a yellow tarpaulin covers a shattered body. When he thinks he recognises the fingers of a childhood friend among the remains, the story interweaves the rawness of the discovery with personal memory and a shared past.
The work belongs to the Narratiba collection, where it appears as number 70; the edition was published on 27 October 2010.
Of interest to readers of Basque fiction with a taste for crime plots and stories of personal memory.
