«Tú serás mi reina: Letizia Ortiz, una periodista camino del Trono» is the investigative book about Spain's queen consort, written by Ángela Portero and Paloma García-Pelayo and published by Espejo de Tinta in hardback (196 pages, in Spanish).
Written by two journalists, the book reconstructs the events surrounding the announcement of the engagement between Prince Felipe and Letizia Ortiz: from her professional beginnings as a journalist to the brief courtship and the strategy of silence deployed by the Royal Household. The narrative focuses on the double move by the Prince of Asturias: communicating the choice to the King and controlling the press, the fourth estate that could derail the plan. A real-time chronicle of the news that marked the Spanish monarchy.
The work has 196 pages and includes numerous colour photographs.
Recommended for readers interested in the Spanish monarchy, the figure of Letizia Ortiz and the journalistic intricacies of the Royal Household.
