However, a strange creature manages to sneak into his room and takes the boy with her into an underground world. There he meets Jack, his missing uncle. He is fighting Gunmar the Black and his army of evil trolls, who are trying to invade the earth to feed on human flesh. Alongside his uncle, Jim decides to become a troll hunter in order to protect his city at all costs.
