«Trilogía sucia de La Habana» is the short story collection by Pedro Juan Gutiérrez, published by Editorial Anagrama in hardback (266 pages, in Spanish).
Pedro Juan, the author's alter ego, inhabits central Havana on the edge of the abyss: rum, music, sex, hunger and disillusionment in a contradictory city. The autobiographical work brings together three books of stories —Anclado en tierra de nadie, Nada que hacer and Sabor a mí— with raw language.
It is part of Pedro Juan Gutiérrez's Centro Habana Cycle and corresponds to volume 251 of Narrativas hispánicas. First edition: December 1998.
For adult readers interested in contemporary fiction and Cuban literature.
