«Triburbia» is the novel by Karl Taro Greenfeld, published by Philippe Rey in paperback (283 pages, in French).
In Tribeca, a group of men have breakfast after dropping their children off at an exclusive school. Among them are an engineer, a sculptor, a journalist, a playwright, a producer, and a Jewish gangster from Brooklyn; their wives, often holding the real power, complete the tribe. The author portrays this microcosm and its dissolution over the course of a year with irony.
The French edition was published in 2013. Translated from English by Françoise Adelstain.
For readers of literary fiction and book clubs interested in satirical portraits of New York.
