«Tres días de julio» is the historical novel by Luis Romero, published by Editorial Ariel in hardback (752 pages, in Spanish).
The work focuses on 18, 19 and 20 July 1936, on the eve of the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War, and traces a journey through different parts of the country. In those preceding hours, both prominent figures and anonymous people appear, all about to be swept up by violence. It is a testimony for those who did not live through the conflict.
The work appears as the first volume of the Ariel collection and was published in Barcelona on 14 February 2006.
Intended for those who did not live through the war, especially young readers, and for anyone wishing to reflect on past and present conflicts.
