«Treize à la douzaine» is the family chronicle of Ernestine and Frank Bunker Gilbreth, published by Gallimard Jeune in paperback (231 pages, in French).
American family chronicle: with humour and warmth, it narrates the daily life of the Gilbreths, a large family, and reviews with a psychological eye the joys and difficulties of living together. The family anecdotes show the ingenuity and affection with which they face everyday life.
The work was originally published in 1948; this French edition, translated from English by J.-N. Faure-Biguet and illustrated by Roland Sabatier, belongs to the Folio Junior collection.
Aimed at young and adult readers who enjoy family stories with humour and warmth.
