«Tom Gates: Idees (quasi) genials» is the illustrated children's book by Liz Pichon, published by Editorial Brúixola in paperback (320 pages, in Catalan).
Tom Gates narrates in his diary the pranks and antics of his daily life: arguments with his sister Dèlia, trouble in class, and supposedly brilliant ideas that always end in disaster. The book combines humor, drawings, and doodles by the protagonist himself, with a comic style that gives rhythm to the reading.
Fourth title in the Tom Gates series, winner of the Roald Dahl Prize 2011 and the Blue Peter Book Award 2013, translated by Daniel Cortés Coronas.
Recommended for readers aged 10 and up who enjoy funny school stories and visual humor.
