«The Wives of Bath» is the romantic comedy novel by Wendy Holden, published by Headline Book Publishing in paperback (480 pages, in English).
Two couples of expectant parents meet at prenatal classes in Bath: Hugo and Amanda, well-off, want a private clinic birth; Jake and Alice, environmentalists, want a natural home birth. Nothing goes as planned: Amanda flees motherhood, Hugo is left alone with the baby, and Alice suffers Jake's ecological demands, in a comedy of mix-ups.
Originally published in 2005, this edition is the Export Ed. variant.
For readers of romantic comedy and chick lit who enjoy family mix-ups and humour about parenthood.
