«The Story of the Train Stop» is Teresa Heapy's children's story, published by OUP Oxford in paperback (32 pages, in English).
Eva travels by train with her mother when the train stops. To pass the time, Eva starts writing a story about a boy who lives in a place where it always rains, and the other passengers help her shape the tale. Two illustration styles distinguish the train scene from the story Eva writes.
Part of the Oxford Reading Tree Story Sparks series, Oxford Level 8. The book includes illustrations by Michael Garton and Anna Hymas.
Aimed at early readers of English, from about 5 years old, and at school use in the British Key Stage 1 curriculum.
