«The Lost Teachings of Jesus» (Vol. 1) is the essay by Mark L. Prophet and Elizabeth Clare Prophet, published in paperback.
The book argues that several teachings of Jesus were lost: some were removed from the gospels and others remained secret. It reconstructs his message from a mystical perspective, answers biblical riddles and addresses karma and reincarnation. It also mentions the past lives of seven masters who achieved union with the higher self.
First volume of the series «The Lost Teachings of Jesus»; text in English, originally published in 1986 and includes bibliographies and indexes.
For readers of spirituality and Christianity interested in a mystical interpretation of Jesus, separate from the orthodox view.
Marcus Lyle "Mark" Prophet was a controversial American New Age religious figure, self-proclaimed prophet, orator, and husband of Elizabeth Prophet. He claimed to be a Messenger of the Ascended Masters and founded The Summit Lighthouse organization on August 7, 1958 in Washington D.C.
