«Body on the Moor» is the crime novel by Nick Louth, published by Canelo in 2021 in paperback (352 pages, in English).
The plot follows lawyer Julia McGann, who defends the violent Terrence Bonner; shortly after, her house is broken into and a girl comes to her door with a terrible story. Inspector Craig Gillard investigates the murder of a school headteacher, and bloodstained gloves link both cases to a secret that occurred on the Derbyshire moors twenty years ago.
It is the eighth novel in the «DCI Craig Gillard» series; the imprint on the edition is Canelo Crime.
A read for fans of British crime fiction and for those already familiar with the Inspector Craig Gillard series.
