«Testing Miss Malarkey» is a children's story by Judy Finchler, published by Scholastic in paperback (32 pages, in English).
As the I.P.T.U. test date approaches, Miss Malarkey starts acting strangely and making the students nervous. Although teachers, the principal, and parents repeat that the test isn't important, their actions say otherwise. An illustrated story that humorously addresses the pressure exams place on students.
Illustrations are by Kevin O'Malley. Published in 2001.
For children and young audiences, especially useful for discussing test anxiety.
