«Teatro» is the children's book by Núria Roca, published by RBA Molino in hardback (36 pages, in Spanish).
The book starts from the idea that doing theatre is, above all, playing at performing: pulling faces, inventing stories with friends and putting on little scenes. With illustrations, it brings children closer to the stage, lighting and props, and proposes activities such as creating puppets from cardboard, sticks or gloves to learn the dramatic art through experimentation.
«Teatro» is part of the series «¿Qué es el arte?», in which it occupies fourth place; the edition was published in 2003.
Aimed at children in the early years of primary school; also useful for parents and teachers who want to introduce little ones to theatre with practical activities.
Nuria Roca Granell is a Spanish writer, TV presenter, actress, radio announcer and architect.
