«Teatre» is the children's book by Núria Roca, published by RBA Molino in hardback (36 pages, in Catalan).
The work introduces children to theatre through a visit to a stage and explains its elements, such as lighting and props. It also proposes expression games with gestures and grimaces, activities to create puppets with cardboard, sticks or gloves, and a first approach to dramatising a story.
Fourth title in the «What is Art?» series, published in 2003; the work was originally published as «Theater».
For early readers curious about art and theatre, and as a resource for teachers who want to propose expression and craft activities.
Nuria Roca Granell is a Spanish writer, TV presenter, actress, radio announcer and architect.
